Custom Projects (Websites, Software, Digital Marketing, Creative Design)
Advance payments made to begin scoping or design work are non-refundable once work has started, as they cover time already committed by our team.
If a project is cancelled before any development work has begun, we will refund the advance payment minus any costs already incurred (such as third-party licensing or domain registration purchased on your behalf).
Revisions vs. Refunds
If you’re not satisfied with a design direction, feature, or output, our first step is always revision, not refund — in line with the revision terms agreed in your project contract. Refunds for custom work are only considered when agreed deliverables were not provided, not for differences in creative preference.
Late Delivery (Our Responsibility)
If USBD Tech Ltd fails to deliver a project significantly beyond the agreed timeline due to reasons within our control, and no resolution or revised timeline is agreed upon, you may be eligible for a partial refund based on the stage of work completed. This does not apply to delays caused by late feedback, incomplete content, or changes in project scope from your side.
Hosting & Domain Registration
Domain registration and annual hosting fees are non-refundable once purchased, as these are paid directly to third-party registrars and infrastructure providers on your behalf.
Digital Marketing Services
Monthly marketing retainers are billed in advance for that month’s work. Because campaign setup and management time is committed at the start of the month, fees for the current month are non-refundable, though services can be paused or cancelled for future months with prior notice.
Refund Method & Timeline
Approved refunds are issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction (bank transfer, mobile banking, or card), unless otherwise agreed. Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from this policy will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangladesh.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under the conditions above, please contact us with your project or invoice reference. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 7 business days.
